    "dimpled"
    washers for use with 100 degree countersunk 1/4" Flush Machine or Sheet Metal Screws and often referred to as “
    Tinnerman Washers”.
    These have a 1/4" I.D. but are made for 1/4" Screws The dimple goes into a worn out or oversize screw hole in a panel. Measurements are .600 O.D. x .250 I.D. x .018 Thick. These were made for and used in WWII
    "North American Aviation"
    Aircraft. The part number 55-14098. (The penny is NOT included. It is to show the comparison to size of the washer).
